On and off the pill

Hey! Does anyone know if it’s bad in anyway to go on and off and back on the pill in a short period of time? I went on it for 2 months, then off for about 3 months and want to start taking it again, just want to know if it’s too messy for my cycle (just for personal reasons, nothing health/fertility related) and I haven’t had any problems previously
