Need advice.

My partner and I are trying for a baby I already have a 6 years old to a previous relationship, I ovulated on 6th of this month and due my period Tuesday coming but Monday just gone I started bleeding on and off for 3 days then spotting for 2 days had nothing since Friday, I dont know weather my period has come 8 days early or weather its early signs of pregnancy has this happened to anyone I'm a bit nervous to take a test, I've also has on and off cramps and really sore and tender breast, sorry for the tmi the bleed didnt feel like my normal period either.
