Just got off the pill...TMI

I just got off the pill one week ago and I got my period again a few days ago. I got my period while on the pill on May 1st and I find it odd I got it again so quickly. When I put this information in the calendar everything changed, should I use the new ovulation schedule or the old one? Is this normal?
