My family and my husband's family grew up together. Our mother's were actually Bestfriends all through school until she passed. Our grandmothers worked together at a point in time lol (We are from a small town lol)

No my parents hate my in laws because they’ve been complete and hateful assholes to me and my kids and my husband.

I get along with my in laws but my family & husband doesn’t get along together... like as in can’t be in the same room as each other so that’s draining at some times because I would love to have a family gathering with my kids my husband and my family but I’ve come to accept it just won’t happen & I’m okay with that. They all know how important they are to me and have their own place in my life so it’s become something I’m okay with

I feel sooooo blessed my parents and my husbands parents don’t just get along, they are good friends! They went to Hawaii together this year and didn’t invite us 😂

They’ve only met a couple times. At our wedding, baby shower, and maybe one other time? 
But yeah - both sides are civilized/non-dramatic people so they all get along.

My husband's grandma and my grandma get along. My husband's mother is jealous of my family (her words) so she's very negative and has talked shit. I won't allow her to be near my family anymore. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yes! My parents love my boyfriend and his family and his family loves me and my family!

They’ve never met. The rest of his family lives in Alabama and we live in Texas. His mom and dad have both passed away so it’s only his sister left and she’s finishing up high school with their aunt before she comes here with us. But he doesn’t care if they get along and he doesn’t get along with his own family, he only visits to see his sister.
