There are certain articles of clothing I own that are pretty revealing, that my boyfriend doesn’t like me to wear in extremely public situations.

LET ME CLARIFY SOMETHING: he is NOT being controlling here. He made it very clear that I can do whatever I want because he trusts me. He just doesn’t like me wearing some clothes in public because they are very revealing and he doesn’t want other people looking at certain parts of my body. It’s not an issue of him not trusting me, or controlling me, because I can still do whatever I want and he will still trust me.

I’ve been in a lot of abusive relationships and I just want to know if this is normal in a relationship? I’m fine with not wearing these things in public, but I’ve never been in a loving relationship and just want to know if this is a normal situation.
