If using Mirena stopped your periods, how long did it take after insertion for your periods to stop?

3 months. I get the random one day bleed every once in a while but that’s it. Fav birth control!

Mine stopped within days and didnt show back up until about 4 years later

I took mines out before my period stopped I heard to many horror stories about it and my aunt had to have a complete hysterectomy bc of it

My periods stopped within the first 3 months (I’ve had it a year this last month) but there has been two months since then where I’ve gotten a period when I thought they had stopped. It’s happening to me now 😩 it’s so weird because I had thought they stopped. Doc says it’s normal though and everyone has different experiences
