Is plan b a good idea?

We’re using condoms and I’m on birth control but I absolutely CANNOT get pregnant so I’m not relying on it but it’s for back up. Can it screw with my birth control or anything. I just want to know if it’s ok to use.

Don’t take it. If you’re on bc and using conforms it’s not necessary. It has many potential side effects that can mess up your cycle, not worth it.

Birth control stops the release of an egg during your cycle

Plan b also temporarily stops the release of an egg

So if you take a plan b while on birth control (if you take bc correctly and regularly) then it’s basically useless and you’d mess up your cycle for no reason. Plus if you’re using condoms as well it’s really unlikely that you’re pregnant. 
You should really research things you put in your body and learn how they work before you start having sex.

It sounds like you don’t need a plan B. You shouldn’t take it. You are already on BC pills. Why do you need plan B?
