Bassinet vs pack n play with bassinet?

What should my newborn sleep in next to my bed?! First time mom 😬

Pack n  plays will last longer. Bassinets are a waste of money. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Depends on how big the bassinet is. Pack n Play you can use for longer and take on the go. You can also use pack n play for a baby play yard outside while you do outdoor activities. If you don’t see yourself using the pack n play for anything but sleeping it still may come in handy when they’re becoming more mobile. I have a bassinet and my parents already had a pack n play for when my sister visits. So I have both and plan on using the bassinet til my baby grows out of it. It’s quite big and holds a lot of weight. I want to use the pack n play for later. I got the bassinet because it has a drop side and she can be like co-sleeping with me and be really close for night feeds and changes. I also really just want to be able to see my baby clearly! Lol I know long comment but just things to think about!

I got a pack n play with bassinet with my first baby 9yrs ago, now pregnant with #4 and plan to use it with this one too. It still works perfectly and looks great. My 3yr old still sleeps in it occasionally on vacation.

I have the Halo bassinet and I love it because I can move it around and it takes up less room in my opinion. 
Once he’s out of that, he will sleep in his mini crib. I just can’t stand the look of pack and plays so I never considered buying one.

We used the halo bassinet and loved it. We do have a 4moms playard that has a bassinet but is too small. Baby wouldnt have lasted 3months in it. I do love the play yard tho. It's great for when we go to places where their is no nursery(for naps).

We have him in a bassinet for now since that's what fits right next to our bed. He will move to a pack n play when he outgrows the bassinet, but it will have to be across the room as that's the only space it will fit. We borrowed the bassinet from a friend since they outgrow them so quickly.

I used a pack n play with a bassinet but she didn’t end up liking the bassinet so we took it off and ordered a better mattress for the the inside of the p&p. It was $32 dollars on amazon and one of the best purchases we’ve made. The little mattress is very portable (came with a strap) and we take it when we travel and she sleeps on the floor...or with me because we both like the cuddles:) There are some really nice bassinets out there but I wanted something we could get more than a few months use out of.

I found the pack and play bassinet easier to put the baby in after being rocked. My bassinet was deeper and my LO would wake always wake up as I put her down.

I used the infamous rock and play sleeper...ooppss....
