He’s known my family for a few months now and both my family and him are very polite (of course lol trying to make good impressions!) and though it’s a little awkward, I figure it will get better with time as they get more comfortable with each other. Today he told me he feels my family is fake somehow, like we don’t have real conversations and tiptoe around other people’s feelings. Not gonna lie, this hurts! I’m close with my family and I thought everything was okay so I’m upset he doesn’t like them... anyone had a similar experience? I’m hoping it will get better with time
