I am currently married to a wonderful man who is studying to become a surgeon. That means 10+ years of school left. We are both young, but I was told when I was 19 that the sooner I have children, the better because I may lose my ability to have children due to an inherited disease. My hub and I have been talking about when we should have children because medical school is a lot, but we want a big family. We have received the advice to not wait because it’s better to just do it and trust God’s plan for us rather than put it off and may never be able to have kids of our own.

So ladies, have any of you been in this or a similar situation? What was it like and what advice would you give? Thanks!(:
