Hey mamas

My little man is 2 months old as of yesterday :)

he eats breast milk and formula due to me not having enough breast milk to just do breast milk he has to have some formula . At the Hospatil when he was born he was 5 weeks early so was put in nicu over night to be monitored and when he was in there they gave him simlac advance and he takes it well he drinks his hole bottle no problem and has been on it since coming home BUT he gets bad cramps :( he cries and cries when it comes time to poop we have to hold his legs up and try to sooth him wile he passes the cramps and gets the poop out , his stool is still soft like wet so it’s not that he is passing solid poops it’s still wet poops but to get them out is very hard on him and he always has gas . I tried to switch him to the simlac total comfort but he was not a fan and what we did manage to get him to drink seem to hurt his tummy more . We have also tried enfamil gentlease and he will not drink it he turns his head and cries and spits up what ever he did drink . It’s so heart breaking to watch him be in pain I have been giving him gripe water and it seems to help but I don’t want to have to give him gripe water all the time I rather find something that makes his belly better

I’m trying very hard to get my breast milk to come In more and more so I can feed him just breast but if that does not happen or until that happens I want to be able to feed him and have him feel good !

I was wondering if you mamas have any advice may it be on a good formula for his belly or advice on how to get more breast milk I’d love to hear it
