Turning baby head down??

Question

I'm 35 weeks with my first little one.  I was confident that he was head down for quite a while because of where the hiccups and kicks were at but now I keep feeling this hard thing at the top of my belly. I'm also getting kicked in the bladder so I don't think he's head down anymore. What would you do to turn him?

You need your midwife or ob to scan and find baby’s position. You have time for your baby to flip they can flip up til the last min you can try all these different things but ultimately your baby will turn which ever way when they want to.

You'd need a midwife or scan to tell you if he's head down or not I get punched in the bladder lol he's sunny side up but head down and I get hiccups down low too

There is no way to tell based on what you described. It could be a head or arm hitting your bladder. Or baby could be curled in a way that feet are by head. The hard thing could be the butt. You’d need a scan to know for sure.

There are exercises you can do to help baby get into optimal position. Check out spinning babies, just google it and you’ll find it. Walking is also good, downward facing dog yoga  pose is another one. Spinning babies has loads of info
