Anyone use ovulation tests as pregnancy tests?

I know this is an on going discussion and I know it’s easier to just use a pregnancy test but I woke up this morning and took an ovulation test because I don’t have any pregnancy tests and it says my surge is extremely high. The control like is the lighter line...I’m also a week late. Yes I will take a real pregnancy test but just curious what everyone’s thoughts are about ovulation tests detecting pregnancy

It does for some but it doesn’t for others. You’ll get a positive ovulation test when you’re about to start af too.

yep i tested this theory in my fist pregnancy & it will give you a “ positive ovulation” if you’re pregnant. however definitely don’t use this as an indicator & just go buy a real test!

They are super dark after period is due. I had + O test after missing period to test the theory.
