Anyone feel like they are gaining a lot in 2nd trimester?


So I started at 181, but at 8 weeks I was 178 (so that’s my starting weight to the doctor). I was down to 173 at 12 weeks. Now at 23 weeks I’m at 185.5, but I gained 2.5 lbs in the last week!!

I wasn’t sick and I was eating the same or even maybe a little worse in the first trimester due to food aversions. I do not have a perfect diet by any means but I have toast with and fruit/yogurt for breakfast, salads for lunch, and reasonable dinners. I’ll generally have a dessert every day as well, and some more fruit as a snack. The weekends are less healthy, more takeout, but I still try to get in 4-5 servings of fruits and veggies. I don’t drink soda, but some days I’ll have half a glass of juice or a lemonade. I do yoga daily and walk a few times a week. Is this all normal? Too much?! I’m just worried I will keep gaining 2.5lbs a week!
