We went on a few dates over 8 months before we decided to be exclusive. (I had two kids and didn’t want to introduce him to them for awhile... also the reason for so few dates over that time period) I knew he was the one 3 months after we became exclusive

Honestly, the first time I saw him. I know it sounds really cliche but there was something special about his smile that I adored from the beginning. I back then text my best friend telling her there was a super fine guy in my class. I would always tell my friends if I ever started dating him, I knew we’d get married and that was over 7 years ago. We’re married now with our first on the way 😊😊.

I started dating him when we were 15. When we were 18 and headed off to separate colleges, we knew we had something special. We weren't about to break up just because of the distance, but we also acknowledged that we needed room to grow into our own people. So we kept dating throughout college and stayed exclusive. Around the time we were 21 and close to graduation, we started seriously talking about marriage. We didn't get engaged though until he had graduated and landed a stable job with which to support us. We got married after I graduated, a year later.
