Pregnancy.

Vicky

So I spoke with my GP today after having a pregnancy confirmed. I asked her about my blood results from the bloods I had taken to confirm which she said they are all OK bearing in mind they only did a full blood count, thyroid, liver, kidney checks and HCG. She said that my HCG was normal as to what it should be. When I started to question my hormone levels from my previous bloods as I had low progesterone and only a little raised testosterone she told me to forget about those and not to worry. I ask if I should be checked again as these can effect the pregnancy and she said no, my progesterone would have been low as they were probably not catching it on time to be raised with ovulation. She told me to take folic acid and prenatal vitamins as well as vitamin D and not to have too much Vitamin A. I feel so disappointed and kind of feel neglected and get the vibe that something wrong is going to happen. I’m so anxious. I’m waiting for an appointment with my midwife so maybe I should explain all to her. Has anyone got any advice please?
