checkup questions?? 30 weeks right now

hey ladies is it normal i haven’t had a ultrasound since my anatomy one at 19 weeks? even then they didn’t do a 3d look at baby. just 2d. and haven’t had them check my urine since i was 7 weeks along. everyone else is saying their docs check everytime they go. just wondering if they’re ever gonna do a growth scan? he hasn’t even mentioned one/ only said once i’m 36 weeks he’ll start checking my cervix.

Unless you're high risk, you usually only get an US for confirmation of pregnancy, and one at your 20 week appointment. As far as the urine, doctor's offices are supposed to do it every visit, but I've found that it depends on your doctor. My 1st baby, that doctor did urine sample every visit, my 2nd and 3rd (current) doctor,  I've only done a urine sample once at the beginning 🤷🏼‍♀️

It’s normal to only get two ultrasounds (early dating ultrasound, and anatomy scan), unless you have complications with your pregnancy. As long as your measurements are fine, they don’t do a scan for growth. I was quite surprised about this too, and kind of bummed I won’t get to see my little man anymore until he is born. This is why most people now a days go to private ultrasound clinics.

Same here. It's normal. My doctor only does urine tests if there is a concern or other symptoms. Same with the growth scan. I had one with my first at 32w only because they saw an issue with the umbilical cord and how it inserted into the placenta at the 20w anatomy scan. 
Currently 34w with baby 2 and there are no plans to do another scan or urine testing.

I haven’t had a growth scan yet and not sure if I will. I’m 31 weeks 3 days but my OB checks my urine every since visit since I started going.

Well I haven’t seen my son since the anatomy scan but get my last ultrasound done this Wednesday to see what he look like at the hospital. Everything fine with my measurements etc but my doctor told me I get 3 ultrasounds done .

Also you will never get a 3D scab at the office. The 3D scans you see on here are paid out of pocket by the parents.
