heart beat question !

hello ladies, i was wondering is 5 weeks 6 days too early to see a heartbeat ?! i had a scan today due to some spotting and everything looked fine just no heartbeat yet... is this normal ?! has anyone else experienced something similar ? thank you for your input in advance 💕
