I've read many birthing stories but wont dare watch any birthing video for the fear of freaking myself out before my due date. Anyone else the same?

I feel like the unknown is worse than familiarity with the process. My favorite was the one that was just a bunch of women squatting and delivering. Don't watch "a baby story," or any TV show that capitalizes on making drama. Just normal deliveries on Youtube or whatever.

I watched my cousin give birth and I’ve also seen lots of videos and it doesn’t freak me out. If anything it makes me cry cause I can’t wait to meet my baby girl

There’s a page I follow on Instagram (I suggest you don’t go to it, if you don’t want to watch people give birth or anything in that area) but for those who do want to watch, it’s badassmotherbirther; I watched so many of the videos and think it’s crazy! I think it kinda made me more nervous after watching it, I also watched a video of a c-section, it’s just crazy watching it happen knowing in a few weeks, that’ll be me. 😅
