Alright folks, my husband and I got married spur of the moment in March because we decided we wanted it official before our daughter was born. So we just did a court house wedding nothing special or fancy. I would like to do a reception type thing to celebrate with family and friends even if it's just a small thing. We also bought a house last November and have been renovating it so we haven't done a house warming event either. So my idea is have an all day event (well afternoon-evening/nighy) for people to filter in and out from drinks on ice, food on the grill, open house style. People can come celebrate for however long they want, see the house, the new baby and celebrate our marriage all at once? Good idea? Or is it overkill? Thoughts?
