My husband and I got pretty drunk at a wedding reception at a golf course over the weekend.

We left the reception earlier (around 11) and stumbled our way back to the hotel room. Until he grabbed my hand and led me to hole 9. The moon was bright and the sky was clear. The grass was super soft on my feet! He kissed me on my forehead and and made his way down. He was saying how beautiful and “stunning” I was. That the best day of his life was when he married me. How he has never been any happier. “I fall deeper in love with you every second”

I hope we conceived our first child on hole 9! 👶🏼 I was ovulating!

But moral of the story was all my exes always used to get drunk and punch holes in the walls. Called me a stupid bitch and always wanted to break up because i wasn’t “worth anything” I’ve had boyfriends who would cheat but justify it because “I was drunk.”

We’re going on 6 years. We will go to the bar with friends and sneak out to go home, get drunk and make pineapple quesadillas.

Alcohol is NOT an excuse to verbally abuse anyone or cheat.

This was the night we ditched the bar to go home, get drunk by ourselves and make quesadillas. I’m shocked they actually turned out amazing. 😋
