Feeling unsure?

So I just got my first positive HPT after a miscarriage in Jan. I feel super confused and unsure how to feel. I’m 12 DPO today so I know it could still end up as a chemical. I want to go to my doctor this week to get blood work done - is this a reasonable request? 
I just don’t want to feel excited yet because anything could happen 🤷🏻‍♀️

I would go to the doctors right away.  After my miscarriage last January my doctor advised I go in as soon as I get a positive.

I would feel exactly the same. Maybe wait a few days and test again? Otherwise I do think it’s reasonable to ask your doctor to test your hcg quants every few days to verify they’re rising.
