Should I be worried?

Question

I almost always check my LO nappy for anything weird since he was born. I like to make sure his poo is always consistent. 
Tonight I looked at it and saw that little spec of maybe blood? It does look red & mucus like. And there wasn’t a lot but should I be concerned? I do have an appointment with my pediatrician on Thursday but was hoping someone can tell me if they ever experienced this with their LO?

I would just wait till Thursday to discuss with your pediatrician and show them the pictures unless it gets worse or more frequent before then.

I had this with my daughter and it was only one diaper and the pediatrician wasn't super concerned but said it could be something I was eating (I was breastfeeding at the time). I eliminated dairy and she didn't have it again and I eventually reintroduced dairy again with no issues 🤷🏼‍♀️ idk if that was the cause and it's probably best to check with your pediatrician, but it could help
