Alkaline water tastes weird now?!

Has anyone had this happen to them? My husband and I always drink alkaline PH balanced water & all of a sudden I found that it tastes weird to me out of nowhere! Has anyone else had this happen?

We drink reverse osmosis water and I literally just tried drinking from my water bottle and it tastes nasty... like soap. It tasted fine all day until now😑

I was drinking some brand water today, not sure if its Alkaline or not, but afterwards I had this chemical like taste in my mouth! It was so horrible. It wasnt metallic like others describe but like a chemical taste. Took a while for it to go away and made me feel dizzy. It was awful. What did it taste like to you?
