Did I do right or wrong?!😫🤔😳

Today I went to Wal-Mart to get some diapers and wipes and when I came out i notice the car parked next to was running with the A/C on, so I kept on putting my thing away, and then I heard a cry; I notice there was a baby and a toddler in the car and no adult, so I stayed there waiting for someone to show up, Me trying to comfort the baby someway so he would stop crying and the toddler was sleep soooo Finally after maybe 10 minutes a women showed up and I told her not to leave her kids alone in a car, that is dangerous. And she just drove away. I would never ever ever leave my daughter anywhere unattended. I came home thinking idk if I did tight or wrong.

Update: thanks for the comments and I do feel guilty for not calling the cops I do. once I got home I started thinking, what if those little boys are being neglected. I know!!! I had a headache all day long just thinking about it😫 once you see something or experience something similar I think that you act for what comes to mind. I heard the baby cry first thing I thought was to comfort him.
