I really like the name Ash. My ex partner has a son called Ashton so I won’t use that name. I don’t really feel the name Asher so I don’t want to use it.

I do think Ash on its own is a little abrupt so we are considering the name Ashley where Ash can be used as a nickname. I understand in America that Ashley is highly regarded as a female name, but in the UK and in Australia I don’t see this as ever being the case.

Not sure which way to go so please help! If you have a strong opinion please do say which country you’re from :)
