Would you let your underage child get a tattoo?

Would you let your underage child (under 18 years old) get a tattoo.

Growing up I had a friend her parents were extremely laid back and not strict at all. For her 16 birthday they took her to get a tattoo. I wanted one as well and asked my parents and they said no way.

Now I’m older and I never did get that tattoo I wanted when I was 16. So I thought to myself would I let my underage child get a tattoo if they really wanted one... and no I wouldn’t. If they want it bad enough they will still want it when they are 18 and can get it then. That’s just my opinion.

So my question is would you allow your underage child to get tattoo? If so what age would you allow it?
