Unprotected sex after 2ish weeks on the pill?

Question

So I read online that the pill is effective after 1 solid week of taking it at the same time- which I have been. I've probably been on it about 2 weeks. 
According to glow, I ovulated Friday, and my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex/he came in me 3 times Saturday 🙃
Sooo.. now I'm seeing you need to wait a month for you to be fully protected?! Does anyone know if I should be covered by the pill at this point? I'm on Apri

Why don’t you ask your doctor instead of using google. Different pills have different amounts of time they need to be taken before they’re effective.
