Pediatricians

I have a 6 1/2 month baby boy and his pediatrician is retiring. She was the doctor who delivered him so I’m a little upset that now, I have to find someone new.. my question is, does your little boy have a female or male doctor? I believe boys should be with boys, and girls with girls. I continued with his current pediatrician because she knows him, obviously. I need some advice, ladies.
