Jumpers... NO!

If you have bought a jumper for your baby, just return it! They affect all sorts of mechanics in the body and every medical professional that deals with movement and child development would ask you to stay away from them. Inflexible ankles, permanent effects to walking gait and leg strength are just some of the side effects. These shouldn’t be sold, but companies will sell you anything that makes them money. Just google it! Try to find any resource that would recommend putting your baby in a jumper. There are zero.

I think you should let each parent make their own decisions instead of telling them to take them back. We all have our own views and there is a risk in just about everything these days. Not intending for this to come out rude in anyway but you do you

Ok, this is yet another one of those freak-outs that really need context. I found a few articles, all saying they are fine in moderation (just like, I dunno, everything else!) So really, just be smart. "it's recommended that things like jumpers and Exersaucers are only used 10 to 15 minutes a day at the most"https://www.romper.com/p/are-jumpers-bad-for-babies-experts-say-time-limits-are-crucial-8317998

I try for the 15 minutes or less at a time and no more than 2 hours per day in “baby holding devices” some days are more because of car rides but we pretty much do floor time at home!

My 14 year old twins and 8 year old used a jumper all the time. And guess what...they are healthy and never had issues with ankles, or walking. I already have my LO in a jumper, she doesn’t jump yet but loves to stand and I only see it benefiting her to gain strength in her legs. This article is the opposite of your statementshttps://www.onlinebabyproduct.com/baby-jumper-good-or-bad/Moms do what your doctor recommends, only you and your doctor knows what’s best for your baby!

They're perfectly fine if you use them after baby is supporting themselves, so after 6 months. And they should also be used in moderation

Everything in moderation. Don’t leave the kid in there for hours but 20 minutes a Day is highly unlikely to cause lasting damage.

What about the jolly jumper where they can stand themselves, but still can jump?

Warn people all you want. Just like cosleeping and the rock n play, people will do what they want. No ones sorry until something happens to their baby. It’s sad but that’s just how people are. Always do what you know is best and yeah try and warn others Incase they don’t know but most parents don’t want to seem wrong
