Mrs. Meyer's?

I'm trying to find better cleaning products for our health and the environment. Especially now that my kiddo is a year and running all over. What do y'all think of Mrs. Meyer's?

You could always do a homemade cleaner :) 
1/2 cup vinegar
2 tbsp baking soda
10 drops tea tree or lemon essential oil

Dr. Bronners Sal Suds is more natural and less toxic than Mrs. Meyers and it can be used for everything from dishes to floors to laundry. I mostly just use it for my floors, toilets, countertops, cabinets, and shower doors. For hand soap I like the Dr. Bronners organic sugar soap or Everyone hand soap. For countertop spray and for dish soap I prefer Attitude, which is a nontoxic brand from Canada. 
If you’re really interested in nontoxic options I highly recommend using the EWG website to search for products. It rates items based on their ingredients.

I LOVE the scents, especially mint. I honestly have no idea about the environmental impact though. I know it says it’s better, but I’ve never done my own research. I like the Ever Spring cleaning line at Target too. They have an all purpose cleaner I use for my counter and her high chair that is awesome and it’s non toxic. I’d much rather use that than Clorox wipes like I was using.

The EWG website is a great resource for finding out how "clean" products actually are and what has just been greenwashed. I love the Mrs. Meyers scents, but it isn't actually much better than commercial products.

Mrs. Meyers is one of the worst natural products out there. They market themselves that way but if you look at the ingredients they're awful.
