Bf behavior abusive or not?

My bf gets hyped when watching videos of girls getting knocked out by men. He always says “sometimes I just wanna knock you out when you get on my nerves.” He sometimes playfully slaps me because i do the same back. He’s Never laid his hands on me but he has said some hurtful things to me. Idk if it’ll escalate to the point he’ll lay his hands on me because I’m not afraid to speak up for myself.
