Do you wipe for pee and poop?

Question

For the baby boy moms, 
I’ve been hearing recently that a lot of moms do not wipe their sons when they pee their diapers 
Only when they poop 
I know my friends wipe their sons when they pee, but looking back, I don’t think my mom wiped the boys when they peed. 
I am just curious what other people do and why? 
I most likely will wipe my son because we don’t plan on circumcising and I want to make sure he’s clean 
But also,  is this a discussion I’ll need to have with anyone who watches him?

I wipe him because if I peed all over myself I’d want to be wiped off. I also dry him using his diaper to fan air at him because I can’t imagine being wet from the wipes and then putting a diaper over it is comfortable 🤷🏻‍♀️

Urine breaks down the skin and the integrity of the skin becomes compromised. So yes. Wipe your baby clean regardless if it is pee or poop.

Please people... Wipe your boys!!! I don't care if the diaper absorbs most of it, I always wipe my son. It only takes one wipe for pee.

Idk why you wouldn’t wipe him as pee probably went all over his genitalia in the diaper.

My son isn’t circumcised and we always wipe him when he pees unless it’s changing his middle of the night diaper because the wipe wakes him more I think. Mine is 5 mo and we are just now leaving him in the church nursery and I’m finding I’m needing to tell people that he’s uncut and to just wipe it off like a finger and not try to push the skin back. It’s always been fine for us but because he’s uncut we always wipe well or his skin gets irritated.

I don't wipe for just pee, unless it's been like three nappies in a row then I do. Wet wipes can do more harm to the sensitive skin than sterile urine whi h the nappy absorbs anyway. He's 9 weeks old and never had nappy rash or any problems

I don't wipe for pee unless the diaper is highly saturated.  He's 13 months old and we've never had any issues.

Yes either way but I would think absolutely if they’re not circumcised. I feel like any babysitters would know to clean uncircumcised as well. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I would say something to any caregivers, like “i don’t want to leave him sitting in pee, so please just give a little extra attention and make sure he’s clean.” 
I always wiped my son thoroughly because even though it’s not “necessary”, if pee sits against the skin for a while it starts to smell strongly and i am a very smell-centric person. I like everything to smell good, especially my kids.

I never wipe for pee unless he actually seems wet from it. His diapers do a great job absorbing the pee and keeping him dry so it’s never been an issue except when I used to cloth diapers for a while. My son is 20 months and we’ve never had any issues. He also has extremely sensitive skin, so I try to use wipes sparingly.
