what toys should i buy for my baby?

what do/did you do with your 3 month old all day? I'm a Sahm and I feel like my baby is getting bored with the things we do. he has a few rattle toys that he likes to chew and a TON of stuffed animals. I read to him and show him the pictures and explain what's happening in the pictures but he wants no part in it lol. we do tummy time , he has his swing but I only put him in it if I need to eat or do the dishes or something like that. I sing to him  I'm just wondering what others do to keep the days entertaining

Sounds like what you are doing is perfect. Little ones get over stimulated easily, so you want to keep it simple. Oral language is great for brain development. I used to take my infant for walks in the stroller and just talk to her the whole time. I’d describe everything we passed by just to fill the space. You might be bored,  but he is not.

I have a door swing my baby really likes, but I think he was closer to 6 months when he first started using it. It sounds like you’re doing a wonderful job. We love to count toes or fingers, we do abc’s and I also say the letter and what sound it makes and sometimes add silly faces, I think getting out of the house is also important.

We do tummy time and play with her toys. She likes to look in the mirror. I read to her. I'll play music from the radio and sing to her. She seems to like that the best. And we'll go for walks around the block if I'm feeling cooped up or need a change of scenary.

My son’s favorite toy has been his activity mat with arches that have toys hanging above him. He still loves it at almost six months old and has used it since about 1 month! The toys I have on it all make jingly or crinkly noises.
