Too young?

My son is 15 weeks old. My town has a splash park, just a few things spewing water. He has okay head control. My question is, is he too young to take there and let him feel the water? Will he even understand what’s happening? ftm so idk if it is.

Babies understand a lot more than we think and they can definitely play! My 12 week old plays with toys so I don’t know what others are talking about when they say babies don’t play. They aren’t potatoes haha. They are constantly learning and taking in the world around them. I say take him to the waterpark! Let him try it out and feel the water. Something he’s never done before! Let him make new connections in his growing brain. Any kind of fun bonding act between mother and baby is good for the both of you ♥️

He probably wouldn’t enjoy feeling the water since it’s probably cold and a little forceful but he might enjoy going there and watching the water

We took our almost 3 year old and 3 month old to an indoor water park this weekend and my 3 month old actually loved it. He was so content in the water and on the lazy river. I did cover his face with my hands while I was walking around because he did not like getting splashed.

I’d say he’s too young to enjoy, it’s not like he can play..in my opinion it’s pointless.

Try a pool first! We took our son at 12 weeks to a hotel we were staying at and his dad held him in the water and moved around and he loved every second of it!
