Pregnant? And a funeral .

So my husband and I have been trying to have another baby and I just found out today I am pregnant with baby #2 !! But my husband has been having a rough week his dad just passed away . And the funeral is tomorrow. Mind you my husband and I have not had sex for about 2 weeks since he heard his father was dieing. And his father passing has created a big stress between us both . I am so happy and excited I’m pregnant! But I don’t know if I should wait to tell him I’m pregnant till after the funeral or just tell him now ? Please any advice would be appreciated.

Tell him afterwards. You don't want to take the focus away from him grieving, he might not be as excited as you want him to be if you tell him before.

I just lost my grandmother last Tuesday at 39 weeks pregnant. It’s been extremely difficult for us as a family to go through but at the same expecting a new little baby has been a huge blessing and I feel as though my grandmother is watching over our baby. She is his guardian angel and I know she will help him get to us (: I think it will make your husband and your family very happy.

Let him focus on the loss of his dad. Then tell him after the funeral. Tell him you know how heavy his heart is for the loss of his father, and then show him a test, or what ever you have planned to tell him.

If it was my husband I would tell him before just Bc I know it Would cheer his heart up but everyone is different he might want to get threw the funeral and just focus on that so it’s just up to you and how well you know him, if you think he will be so happy it will ease the pain a little or if he’d feel a little down about everything else going on..

My husband’s grandpa passed away a week before we found out I was pregnant. It was very hard to watch him struggle with grief while also trying to be excited at the same time.
