No poop for 4 days?

My son is 90% breast milk and 10% formula fed and hasn’t had a bowel movement in 4 days!  His pediatrician won’t intervene until a full week. Ant safe, natural solutions?  Thanks mommas!

My pediatrician said call after 4 days but I’m not sure what they’d do. Try tummy time and getting him/her to move around and massage. And feed. Nothing more you can don- and keep in touch with doc.

We also combo feed and my son starting doing this about a month ago and it made me so worried. Now he poops every 4 days like clock work and it’s a massive poo-nami!!! As long as the stool is soft you’re baby is good to go another 4 days lol

My son actually would go once every 7-10 days and our pediatrician told us it was normal as long as his abdomen was soft and pliable. All the grunting and pushing was normal just do bicycle,  bringing the legs up to the belly, and lay him on the mat to kick around to get things moving every single day. He was on this path all the way till we introduced solids and then he started going every other day. After that we’ve never had an issue with him being constipated.

Same here...my son goes about every 4-5 days. He is combo fed as well.

Just let him be. My daughter went 10 days once and it was soft as anything. I called at 7 days and they said to give her 3 more days before intervening. Lo and behold, explosion on day 10. 💩😂

I was combo feeding for awhile and she was getting mostly formula, though I switched her to an organic formula that I felt the best using called Holle and it didn't have soy. I used the goat's milk one until I was producing enough for her to eat on top of trying to heal from some complications of breastfeeding. She would only poop once a week. She is completely breastfed and still only usually poops once a week. I read that this is because (usually) there isn't very much getting wasted). When she does poop, it's a lot, but she never seems uncomfortable from it. I got worried at first when she was still a newborn, but she finally pooped. It's usually normal. Some babies have different bowel movement time frames than others.
