We have two options to give birth in this country. (Husbands country, I don't speak the language)

1. Pay $800 for private care, seems like nothing, I know but this month we are basically broke (most of our money is on hold for "risk" from our business)

2. Free hospital

Obviously 2 sounds like the better idea, but he can't be in there with me. I wouldn't be able to see my husband until 24 hours later when we are released. Our doctor also wouldn't deliver, it would be random. And I'm not okay with a guy doctor. Long story.

Also, I can understand the language here but not speak it. But I'm also worried with being flustered and going through labor that I won't really be able to focus on what they say, and medically that seems very important.

We're extremely stressed for money because they have most of it on hold, we literally have $1000 available but it's set aside for the private care. If they need to do a csection its $1400.

I don't want him to stress for this and then us be completely broke after the birth. But I'm also terrified of being alone and I know besides the language barriers and my fears of giving birth, it will ruin the experience as well for me. I feel like I will regret it forever. But right now is just my husbands stress, what should I do?
