Did you do a diaper stock pile for your little one? Any issues with dried out wipes or unsticky diaper tabs?

Did you do a diaper stock pile for your little one? How early did you start? Did you have any issues with sticky tabs not being sticky anymore or wipes being dry? Thanks!

I did it with my 1st and never again. I see zero point in it to be honest. Each of my kids had different growth spurts at different rates, different sensitivities to diapers and wipes etc. Having to exchange bulky boxes of diapers with a baby is a much bigger inconvenience than ordering 2 day delivery from amazon, Walmart, target, costco etc. I have 4 kids and have sent my husband to the store for "uh oh we are out of diapers"....once.

I've been stocking up and keeping the receipts! Tape them to the packages incase u need a different size or the baby has a reaction to them

On accident lol we had a diaper party and 2 baby showers. They stocked up fast. To say we’re good for a while is an understatement.

Better idea would be to continue to load a gift card or something with money specific for baby stuff. You just never know how long they will be in that size or if they’ll ever be in that size. I think one box of each isn’t a bad idea but other then that just put money aside.

I stock piled months before he was born and had no issues.  I would just buy a case when I found them on sale.  But I wouldn’t do it again.  I bought 2 cases of newborn and 1 case of size 1 and ended up with too many newborn and an extra pack of size 1 from the case.  He only lasted a week in newborns and we put him into size 1s because he was blowing out his diapers.  Then by 8-9 weeks he was in size 2 and I decided to switch from pampers to Huggies because I like the absorbency better.  Pampers has a mesh in them and it kept getting stuck to his bum when he had a poop at night.  Thankfully he doesn’t have a sensitivity to either of them.  
Be conservative, Amazon can always deliver to your house if it’s hard to get out the door to get diapers.  Wipes are always a necessity though

I started stock piling diapers for my 1st daughter 10-12 weeks before she was born. A lot of those came from her shower which was 8 weeks before she was born. I didn't start stocking up on wipes until about 6 weeks before she was born. But I had absolutely zero issues with any if it so I started stocking up about a month sooner for my current pregnancy. Here's my stash 😁 just started buying wipes a couple weeks ago.

Stock pilled with my first and stock pilling with my second as well. I nvr did hve a problem with dried out wipes or unstick diapers I just find it so much easier to at least hve all I need while I’m off work for 6weeks

I mostly stocked up on wipes, a bunch of different kinds. I wouldn't really stock up much, especially on diapers. Your baby may grow fast or be sensitive to one thing, certain diapers may not work, others may leak, give a rash, etc.

We had gotten so many diapers and wipes from our showers for our girl. We had to start buying diapers, but we made it a good year before we had to regularly purchase them and we had 0 issues with diapers being bad or anything like that. We are still using wipes we recieved from back then and our girl is 18 months! Never have I across any dry ones.
