PCOS and Weight lifting??

Hey guys!! I have PCOS and want so badly to start eating right and getting my body exercising, I have seen a lot of people say to incorporate weight lifting. I just want to know what has worked for you? Any tips on how to start? And specific work outs and how to do them? I know nothing about the gym, I’ll start going, do cardio and get bored of it and stop! I’m tired of letting my body keep on getting worse and not doing anything to change it! Help! 😩
