Do you / have you tracked basal body temp to predict and confirm ov??

Hi girls!!
I’m planning my baby making strategy for this next cycle... I’ve ordered a bbt thermometer and wanted to know whether anyone has done it and how they found it?? 
the charting looks complicated but potentially useful? Esp as it sounds like it can spot when you ovulate and possibly even if you’re pregnant before Af. 
Or, is it not worth all the effort and just as good sticking with my opks and doing the deed as much as possible in my fertile days?

I love charting. OPKs can’t confirm ovulation. 
So if you use only OPKs....
What if you have two surges? Or miss one altogether?
Which one was actual ovulation? 
What if you never get a positive OPK?
Those are things you won’t know unless you temp. 
It’s very easy to learn. After you confirm ovulation you don’t have to continue temping. 
I charted with my first and can tell you when I had implantation. I had a fairly good idea I was pregnant the day AF was due. What day I Ovulated and it matched ultrasound dating exactly.

Get the app Fertility Friend (there’s a free version that in my opinion is better than Glow). Read the articles on there... it’s really not difficult (I’ve been doing it for 1.5 years now).

I did it 1 month and I was only able to tell when I ovulated after I already ovulated. I didnt find it very useful
