Did you choose to get induced?

Question

I just had my 36 week appointment, doctor said I'm already 3cm and 60% effaced🤗
She doesn't think I'll make it to my due date, but you never know and she said I can choose to be induced at 39 weeks because I have a favorable cervix. 
Do you think it's worth it to be induced? I want her to come when she's ready, but I'm getting more miserable as time goes on. Looking for your experiences!!

As tempting as it might be, I personally wouldn’t. Your labor is a lot more likely to go smoothly if it starts naturally. I really wouldn’t induce unless it was necessary.

My doctor wants to induce me at 39 weeks. I was 1-1.5 cm dilated and 80% effaced at my 36 week appointment. I’m not sure if my cervix is considered favorable yet lol. I was exactly where you are at 36 weeks with my first. I didn’t get induced with him

I'm getting a sweep done, but if that doesnt work I'm not taking the option to get induced until I absolutely have to (41 weeks). I was also offered voluntary induction at 39 weeks, but I'm almost 3cm at 37 weeks and have had successful sweeps before

I wasn't planning on it. But I'm 5cm and have regular contractions but stuck at a 5. Both mom for all 4 of her pregnancies and sister needed pitocin to get past a 5. I cant do another 2 or 3 weeks of contractions with no progression. So I'm gonna take the option at 39 weeks. if he hasn't come yet.

With my first I did, I was barely dilated and some what effaced. It was end ofJuly, I was hot and miserable and honestly it was convenient because hubby was out of town for a month around her due date. It wasnt horrible but compared to going into labor naturally it was a bit harsher. As in the contractions hurt worse. I was put on pitocin and labor naturally for about 6 hours before it became too much.  I reached about 5 cm. When I went into labor naturally I hit 5cm with barely an pain. Made it to about 7/8cm before my water broke and then they really started hurting Lol but overall it wasnt bad at all.
