Should I throw away my shrimp?

Bo

Here's the situation...

Yesterday was my birthday, I had a boozey lunch to celebrate, spent time at my in-laws and came home, on Wednesdays we get our meals delivered to us for the week from home chef, well.. our nest let's us know the delivery was made at 2:56, we got home around 4pm-ish, I unpack it.. and take the box out to the garage around 4:15 (with the ice packs still in it, can't remember if they were still frozen when I unpacked the meals) and today around 4:45pm, I take the garbage out and take the ice packs out and realize the shrimp had been left in the box over night 🤦‍♀️ but the ice packs are still cool to the touch but completely thawed out at this point and the raw shrimp were cool to the touch. Yesterday it was 90°f with a low in the evening of 67°f but the garage probably stayed around 70°f throughout the night.. this morning when I got in my vehicle my car temp read 72°f until I pulled out then it was 79°f as I waited for the garage door to shut. Today's high was 89°f and by 5pm the temperature started to lower... Anyways, so the raw shrimp were still relatively cool, but the ice packs were completely thawed out.. and my immediate reaction was to throw them in the fridge.. not to check them temperature of the box to see how cool they were, as my husband suggested after I let him know of my fuck up.. so now, I'm in a weird situation where.. it's like I kinda don't wanna waste the shrimp, and since it's really just gonna be me eating the meals for the next few days.. I don't see it as a huge ordeal but then again I can't really afford the luxury of getting a food borne illness and being dead to the world for a few days since I have a child to take care of and my husband is out of town for work... But the other side of me is like... I mean, if I cook them.. all the bacteria and shit will get cooked off and I'll be fine.. but then again the other side of me is still like... That's stupid.. don't do that.. just throw them out and buy more shrimp it's not a big deal.. and then I'm still like.. nah, I spend good money on these meals and I ain't wasting money to buy more shrimp.. that's ridiculous.. they look and smell fine.. but I don't want to spend a few days on the toilet with my head in a garbage can.

So, should I just throw them out? Should I just cook them now.. and hope for the best or what? The recipe is for shrimp and grits.. and I fucking love shrimp and grits. 😑 ..so I'm kinda like maybe I should just go buy some good fresh ass shrimp and say fuck it to the other ones because the new ones will probably be better than the ones that came with the recipe in the first place..
