Might be a dumb question😂 can we bring a bottle of wine/champagne to have after c section?

We think it would be so fun to bring a bottle of wine to celebrate our baby with our family! I will be having a section so I don’t know if the pain meds would prevent me from being able to have a glass with everyone. Please no mean comments...just asking

Check your hospital. Mine doesn't allow it and if caught they can make a CPS report.

Mine said we could after a natural but I’m not sure about a c section. Alcohol might prevent healing so just ask the hospital

I'm bringing my own bottle of wine its 5% alcohol lol. My family knows and my son father hopefully I dont forget it at home cause its my "congrats mama we made it" bottle lmao.

Ours said we can’t bring alcohol but they do have a “welcome baby” package that includes champagne 🤷‍♀️

My hospital doesn’t allow any alcohol, they printed it very boldly on the rules sheet. I know some places will serve champagne with a nice dinner after you give birth, so I guess you should just call and ask their policy

Check with your hospital. Mine doesn’t allow that so we waited to celebrate until we got home. It was honestly much more fun for me to do it at home - I was kind of in shock the day he was born and I don’t think I would have been up for that type of celebration even though I was sure I would be in advance.
