Have you ever been to Planned Parenthood?

I been wanting to go but I’m scared to go. I wanna go for birth control but don’t know how it all that works. Do I just walk in and tell them I want to get birth control like the pill or the implant; so they’ll prescribed it to me that same day or come back some other day? 
Can you tell me how this place works?

You can either call or go online and schedule an appointment, they’ll ask what the appointment is for... then when you go in they’ll prescribe the bc that day, or they insert the implant if that’s what you want... super easy! That’s how I got the implant and it was same day just one appointment

I only ever used the pill so idk about the implant but I called the office to talk to them about what I had to do and followed their instructions. If you're uncomfortable going to PP your local health department may offer similar services at similar prices. My health department was actually cheaper than my local PP

My friend used to go and I took her to a couple appointments. 
It varies depending on the area. Where we were living at the time, it took 6-9 months to get an appointment for birth control. Once you had an appointment, you would typically get it that day.
