Dear Swimmer Boy

Emma

If I wasn’t so afraid of rejection I would have asked you out already. I can’t tell you how long I’ve loved you. Since the first day I met you, I can’t stop thinking about when I’ll see you again. Every time you walk into swim practice, my face turns red even when I only look at you once. You said you don’t like anyone, and it crushed my heart. It’s almost like we’re part of some stupid game. Remember that time you made me turn around by tapping me with a kickboard? Or when you wore a Speedo to practice just cause I asked you to? I know deep down in my heart that it probably won’t happen, but I wish for it every night before I go to bed. And when you do get a girlfriend, I’ll be your number one fan. Cause no matter how much it hurts, I will always support you, no matter what. Just seeing you smirk at me makes my day, and I wouldn’t change your goofy personality for anything. I love you, swimmer boy. More than you would ever know.

Forever yours,

Swimmer girl
