The other day my little one went to a playgroup with a variety of other kids (0-5) and one little girl around 4 seemed like she wanted to play with her but just ended up wanting to bear hug her, squeeze her, bounce her up and down on her butt kind of hard and ended up flipping backwards on the ground with her laying on top. Anytime my little one went to play with a toy she would come right over and push her or rip the toy from her hand.

I tried telling the little girl my daughter didn’t want to be squeezed and tried coaxing her to let go but it didn’t work.

I want to protect my little one but I also know she needs to socialize, how would anyone else of handled it
