BH or Baby Moving??

I’ve heard that BH feels like your belly tightening but what I’ve been feeling  feels like tightening but also like the baby moving close to the surface of my belly. How do I know the difference? Or is it something that would be obvious?

To me Braxton Hicks feels like your whole stomach is tightening like you’re flexing all your abs at once without control.  Baby rolling and pushing out is similar but very different at the same time.

If it’s baby, only that side gets hard. When it is a BH, the entire stomach get tight. It doesn’t necessarily have to hurt, but it is just tight.

I can feel a big difference in a Braxton hicks contraction and baby being right on the belly. The BH starts out feeling like a period cramp and then it is an all over tightening feeling in the stomach area. I can tell when one is beginning and it's not painful, but very uncomfortable. Also if you put your hands around your belly during a BH, it feels like there is a rock in place of your uterus.
