My ex has gonorrhea and he said he got it on May 9th when we were broken up, and started having symptoms 10 days later. He said he only had sex with her once and with no condom. We had sex maybe like 2 times within that time frame when we got back together, but I haven’t had symptoms and it’s been 12 days for me. I still got tested and I am waiting on results but my question is can you get it the one time you have sex with someone that has it? Even if they don’t have symptoms? Like I just don’t get how he got it ONE time after having sex with that person but I didn’t get it and he was supposedly infected. We had sex 2 times with no condom.

More important question: can you have sex and not get Gonorrhea from someone who has it?
