Positive OPK CD 6

Has anyone had this happen? Starting CD 4 I had dark opks and then CD 6 I had a blazing positive. I had a lighter than usual period this round and I did a hpt this morning and its negative. Usually I always get a positive OPK CD 13-15. We dtd just to cover it but I'm confused.
